What is measured

This site counts visits. It does not profile you, it does not sell anything, and it runs no advertising.

Before you answer the banner

Nothing is stored on your device and no cookies are set. Google Analytics runs with consent denied by default, which means it sends a cookieless ping: a number, not a person. You can decline and the site works exactly the same.

If you accept

Google Analytics 4 sets its _ga cookies and records:

  • which page you looked at, and when
  • which site or search sent you here
  • your country and city, derived from an IP address that Google truncates and does not store
  • your browser, device type and screen size
  • clicks on the email address on the front page

That is the whole list. There is no account, no login and no form, so there is nothing here that carries your name.

Changing your mind

Click Cookies in the navigation. Declining clears the _ga cookies this site set, rather than only stopping new ones.

The app is a separate thing

Carrypoint the macOS app sends nothing. No account, no cloud sync, no telemetry. Your servers and credentials stay on your Mac, in the Keychain and a local database. This page is about the website only.
